Southern parts of the area had severe weather early this morning.  Here, there was constant lightning and thunder at around 3am, but nothing too significant.  Further south, there was wind damage, power failures and several inches of rain.

Another round of severe weather is expected for this evening, possibly in a more widespread fashion.  Again, it might be more severe to the south - the Storm Prediction Center has the line of greater possibility along and south of the Michigan/Indiana border.
